The Sales Senior Director (SSD) at Kryterion is responsible for achieving revenue goals according to business plans. As a Sales Senior Director you develop new business opportunities by establishing new client relationships and growing large accounts. In addition, you oversee the Sales function and are a member of the executive team. You are also key to achieving our 3-year objective of having 10 accounts headquartered in Europe. Your qualifications must include a proven track record of demonstrated success selling complex solutions and leading a Sales team in a consultative sales process. You will need to generate significant sales directly and through the Sales team. The SSD represents Kryterion to clients and needs to maintain high work ethics standards and work in the best interest of the company.

The SSD is an executive role reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. As such, this person works with other executives to assist in making major company decisions, growing the business, and allocating resources to achieve goals. 

Essential Job Functions:

• Communicate a compelling vision for clients to work with Kryterion

• Set clear sales goals and strategies for achieving them

• Lead by example, showing by word and action what is expected of others

• Determine the best time and way for us to establish a sales presence in Europe and lead the execution

• Generate new, large accounts and grow existing key accounts in conjunction with the Client Success team

• Build a successful Sales team by hiring, mentoring, and overseeing talent

• Develop sales quotas, territories, processes, systems, and pricing models

• Create an environment of teamwork, collaboration, and high performance

• Deliver on commitments and hold others accountable for results

• Manage sales targets, forecasts, pipeline reports, expense reports and contacts

• Report on sales performance regularly to the executive team

• Work cooperatively as a team member

• Meet with clients and if necessary, travel to client meetings, and industry trade shows

Candidate Qualifications:

• Experience: 15 years or more of relevant industry and/or SaaS experience desired

• International Experience: 5 years of managing salespeople outside the USA., ideally while living in Europe

• Success: Proven record of success leading a sales team

• Education: 4-year college degree or equivalent education desired

• Teamwork: work well with the executive team, develop the Sales team to achieve sales goals, and foster cross-functional collaboration

• Creative and entrepreneurial: demonstrate the ability to grow at a fast pace in the current market, leveraging creativity, sound judgement and resourcefulness

• Change agent: develop innovative strategies and lead change in the organization

• Problem-Solver: resolve challenges and find opportunities to obtain new business

• Customer-Centric: interact with customers effectively by building relationships of trust, understanding their needs, and presenting valuable solutions
