We’re looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our growing team. As a Solutions Engineer, you will engage with enterprise customers to help them design a solution best fitting their needs using our cutting-edge technology.


Responsibilities

  • Engage with software sales and consulting sales to assist in customer qualification during the sales process
  • Work with customers to deploy MessageGears Accelerator into client environments
  • Exercise creativity, independent judgement, and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to design non-routine and very complex business solutions to meet our customer needs
  • Ability to comprehend detailed data models for logical and conceptual database designs, and help provide SQL queries to support highly complex business requirements determined from client needs
  • Learn and work with modern data warehouses, such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift and numerous others
  • Work with other MessageGears teams to develop and support client extensions
  • Recommends and justifies enhancements to the MessageGears platform to meet complex customer needs
  • Develop technical content, such as white papers and reference architectures, that can be used by our customers to assist them in deploying the MessageGears solution
  • Represent MessageGears during client visits and other industry events


Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in the design and implementation of complex, data oriented software systems
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated effectiveness working across multiple business units
  • An understanding of the cloud computing deployment model, especially related to Enterprise datasets
  • An undergraduate degree in computer science, MIS, engineering or related discipline
  • Experience in a customer-facing, sales-aligned role such as consultant, solutions engineer or solutions architect
