Job Overview

In this role, the Sales Account Executive will drive revenue in assigned markets and territories. The goal is to acquire mid-level accounts to utilize the Right Networks cloud platform for firm and client users. This is a sales position that takes the ability to generate leads and strategically interact with IT managers and partners of small to medium-sized CPA firms on the telephone and in person.

This position will be covering our Central territory, so being centrally located is highly preferred. This is a remote work position, however, this role requires up to 40% travel.


  • Generate leads and set appointments with daily outbound calls and outbound emails into defined market and territory
  • Identify, initiate, and nurture relationships with prospects over the phone, via email, and in person as appropriate
  • Manage time effectively and be self-accountable
  • Work with quarterly and annual quotas
  • Ensure that the daily sales report and lead reports are accurate and timely, including pipeline forecasting
  • Adhere to defined sales processes
  • Manage all prospecting activity within Salesforce
  • Follow up to confirm proper follow through for prospects and existing clients
  • Execute high level sales presentations and discussions regarding the Right Networks offerings
  • Interact with Project Managers as appropriate to schedule implementations
  • Execute successful handover to the account management team
  • Attend trade shows and perform related follow-up work as requested


  • Must be independent, highly motivated, detailed oriented and confident with excellent time sale and organizational skills with the ability to consistently generate revenue
  • Must have excellent communication, sales, and professional skills, including people skills, negotiation experience, outstanding presentation capabilities, etc.
  • Must be able to get through the gatekeeper quickly and form substantive relationships
  • Knowledge of database and pipeline management is essential
  • Proven experience selling SAAS and recurring revenue-based services and technology to regional accounting firms and larger organizations at the C-level
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of the National Accounting firm landscape, including services offered, technology utilized, challenges faced, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field strongly preferred
