Position Summary

As an Account Executive at Recovery Point, you will focus on driving new business across respective industry sectors, while tending to the growth and development of a subset of current clients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The following duties and responsibilities are intended to be representative of the work performed by the incumbent(s) in this position and are not all-inclusive. The omission of a specific duty of responsibility will NOT preclude it from the position

  • Generating new logo bookings through Client acquisition in respective industry sectors
  • Create and execute against comprehensive account plans to drive new meetings, pipeline, closed details, and market share in the prospective account base
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with targeted high-growth potential targets
  • Run all aspects of the sales engagement process including prospecting, in-person and virtual meetings, tradeshow participation, contract negotiations, and closings
  • Achieving and maintaining assigned quota targets associated with new logo Clients as well as targeted existing Clients
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships

Knowledge and Skills

  • A successful Account Executive will have 3+ years of relevant work experience, in the Recovery and Resiliency space
  • Experience working in and maintaining CRM (Salesforce and CPQ)
  • Skills in technical writing, presentations, and proposal development
  • Ability to manage multiple, concurrent, and complex projects
  • Excellent skills in organizational, interpersonal, facilitation, oral and written communication
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision, independently and/or as a member of a project team
  • Ability to multitask and to prioritize workload under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment – must escalate appropriate issues to management in a timely fashion
  • Must be detailed oriented - with strong attention to accuracy and problem solving. “Follow-up until resolved” skills are a must
  • Ability to work well as a team member
  • Skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, MS Project etc.)
  • Ability to travel, as needed

Preferred Qualifications

BA or BS or equivalent experience

  • Knowledgeable in Salesforce and CPQ
