About the Role: 

Remote Based. Open to candidates in the USA in Pacific, Mountain, Central, and Eastern time zones. 

BigPanda is looking for a software engineer to join our growing Professional Services Team as a Solution Engineer. In this customer-facing role, you will be the technical lead of our onboarding projects responsible for the customization of integrations with various inbound Observability and Monitoring tools and outbound ITSM Systems that are currently not offered OOTB by our platform.

  • Design, develop, test & document complex integration workflows that can be implemented with speed 
  • Implement scripting based end to end solutions to connect BigPanda with 3rd party vendors using cloud provider services and API methodologies
  • Partner with BigPanda’s Project Manager and Solutions Architect teams to drive onboarding projects to completion
  • Own the requirements gathering, development, and testing for custom integrations 
  • Interface directly with our client’s SMEs in any of the following areas: Observability & Monitoring Tools, CMDB/ITSM solutions, Collaboration Tools, or On-Call Systems
  • Identify and action ways to streamline and templatize BigPanda’s integration processes 


  • 4+ years of client-facing (or engagement with internal stakeholders) engineering experience 
  • Experience integrating with APIs or integrations with third-party systems
  • Proficiency with at least 2 of the following:
  • Languages
  • Node.JS
  • Python
  • Scripting Languages 
  • Integration Platforms
  • AWS
  • Azure 
  • GCP
