For the high-energy lead generation professional, the Sales Development Representative is a great opportunity to help drive the demand for our next-generation engineering design software. You will be working closely with the Account Executive team to research and build a targeted list of new potential customers as well as discover business expansion opportunities within our current clientele.

You will be part of a Sales Development Team that is filled with high-energy, self-motivated, and adaptable team members. At nTopology we believe in promoting from within and with our current growth plans and the acceleration we're seeing in our business, strong performance in this role can lead to upward mobility within the Sales organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Pursue some of the most advanced engineering companies in the Aerospace and Defense, Medical, Automotive, and Consumer Products industries
  • Contact prospective customers, conduct high-level conversations with engineers and designers, and qualify opportunities for nTopology
  • Generate new business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline
  • Respond, engage, qualify and follow up on all prospective leads and inquiries
  • Continual management of all agreed upon key performance indicators for example, number of dials and emails per day
  • Work with the Account Executives to create and prioritize target account lists for prospecting and outreach
  • Successfully and proficiently answer prospect questions and provide appropriate details to Application Engineers, Sales Engineers, and Account Executives
  • Capturing accurate information and utilizing Salesforce as the single source of truth
  • Research and buildout new and existing accounts (i.e.: adding contacts, emails, and apply strategic calling)
  • Achieve and exceed monthly quotas of qualified opportunities and required pipeline
  • Identify best practices and to refine the company’s lead generation playbook while creating outreach strategies for new lead generation methods

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
  • 1-2 years of relevant sales development experience, with a history of exceeding goal
  • Excellent phone and email skills and the ability to quickly assess prospects needs and relate them to our software capabilities
  • Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new connections with prospects
  • Accurately tracking prospect interactions and information in Salesforce
  • An excellent and organized work ethic
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks 
  • Prior lead generation or sales prospecting experience
  • Proven track record of working strategically with both Marketing and Sales
  • Excited to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment 
  • The desire for professional growth and career development
  • Excellent spoken and written English

It's a Plus If You Also Have These

  • Strong understanding of engineering software or experience in a technical environment
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills
  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • Experience using Salesforce, SalesLoft, SalesIntel and, ZoomInfo
